Logging in

This section describes the Application Owner sign in process.

SafeNet Data Protection On Demand implements Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) using an authentication application on a mobile device. MFA increases user account security by requiring users to configure an MFA token linked to their DPoD user account that generates unique 6-digit time-based one time passwords (TOTP). DPoD then requires use of the TOTP in addition to the user's credentials when accessing the application.

SafeNet Data Protection On Demand is verified with the following MFA applications:

MFA Application Available on Android Available on iPhone
Google Authenticator Google Play Store App Store
Authy Google Play Store App Store

Once configured, the MFA application inherits the label <tenant hostname> <user_account> for the DPoD platform TOTP.
